New World Open Beta – How to Access

Access to the New World Open Beta is free for everyone. You do not need to have pre-purchased the game. The New World Open Beta will be available for download on Steam from 3pm BST/4pm CEST/7am PST/10am EST. You can only access the New World Open Beta via Steam.

The Open Beta timelines:

  • UK: 3pm BST on 9th September 2021 until 7:59am BST on 13th September 2021
  • Central Europe: 4pm CEST on 9th September 2021 until 8:59am CEST on 13th September 2021
  • US East Coast: 10am EST on 9th September 2021 until 2:59am EST on 13th September 2021
  • US West Coast: 7am EST on 9th September 2021 until 11:59pm EST on 12th September 2021

How to Access the New World Open Beta

  • Download Steam if you haven’t already
  • Go to the New World game page in the store
  • Scroll down to the Join the New World Open Beta section and click Request Access.
